Alkisah sandwich cake ni bermula dari zaman belajar dulu. Sakinah Sallehuddin aka kynah selalu jugak buatkn utk azie n kengkawan lain masa kitorg datang rumah dia. Zaman tu VSC ni tak laa sefemes sekarang. Like today semua orang pon nak VSC. Trending katanya.
So masa first time merasa cake ni terus jatuh hati. Kyna version of sandwich cake is butter cake layer with jam and sugar. Yes sugar. It made the cake crunchier.. ANd addictive to me. The more sugar the crunchier it be.. And by this timw im wiping my saliva off!! (Kyna u better make me one of ur alltime fav vsc) Maybe because at that time i never try other vsc so this Kyna-VSC so killing that it make me craved for more.
But truth be told. Kyna is not that kind of person who is sooooo rajin to bake and especially cook.. Hahahaha.. So her most-wanted-vsc-to-die-for is so difficult to catch. Mintaklah berapa kali pon. Bebel la berapa kali pon. Upahla apa pon. If she lazy. She means it. I still remember come all the way from Shah Alam to her house and force her to bake the cake on the stop. Making her bake out of her keinginan is a big mistake. The cake did not rise to the right size 😑😞😭
But one thing for sure. It still taste so good. 😋
And that was the last memory i had of Kyna-most-wanted-vsc because after that she refuse to bake again.😖
So today i sent her this same birthday cake that my sis bake me on my 28th birthday. A Modern VSC with full of whipped cream double layer with jam.. 😍😍😍.. The cake was so good, delicious and so sweet. (Tq for all the wishes.. Im so touched by how many of u that wished me..and remember my birthday still Feeling retis) and i told kyna how i miss her vsc. So she replied an unbelievable answer to my hues. She said to make a plan and invite others to her house and so we can make a bake-vsc-dayh.. Oh la la.. This really made my day. But still this plan is still not confirm because im away a week before ramadhan. N ramadhan is just two week away. So no more weekend before ramadhan. I really hope that this plan will somehow happen. Because i miss her version of sandwich cake so much. Hihi.
Ok settle membebel. Just doakan that kyna will make a better plan for my vsc.. Hihi😍😍😍
So this is the cake. That my sister asked me of what cakes i want her to bake for my birthday.. A VSC with lotsa cream, and strawberry. But because strawberry is difficult to find in Nilai. So i forgive her. Hihi. Tq adek for such a cake. I hope u can be a good baker. Always learns to be the best kayh. Much love. Ur sister.
